Journaling is not for everyone, BUT it's an option for people to get thoughts, and feelings out of their head and in a safe place that can be used to process later. When we are in a place where we don't want to say certain things outloud, or can't talk to someone, writing it out can be just as effective. There are no rules for journaling, you can draw images that depict your feelings and thoughts, you can draw cartoons that act out your situation, you can make bullet points, you can write paragraphs, and you can do some personal mix of all of the above! The only rule is that you do whatever works for you to help process your feelings and emotions and feel better afterwards!
Here are some resources to help get you started, or to help you try!
