Parent Resource Center
ECPS is proud to announce the opening of a Parent Resource Center. The Parent Resource Center (PRC) is an information center for Essex County Public School families and others concerned with the education and care of children with disabilities. The PRC’s purpose is to provide parents with the support and information they need as they work with the school system to identify and meet their child’s unique learning needs. The PRC offers support and assistance, a lending library, DVDs, books, instructional materials, parent training information, and serves as an information and referral source for families and staff members. To accomplish our mission, we offer a variety of services at no cost to families.
The Parent Resource Center will be open on certain days and times. It will be located at Tappahannock Elementary School. Specific dates and times will be provided once the school year starts. If you have any questions, please contact the ECPS Special Education and Student Services Department at 804-443-3959.
