Accreditation Report
Virginia public schools receive annual state accreditation ratings based on the performance of students on state assessments in English, mathematics, and science as well as other measures of quality and performance.
CIP Benchmark Data - Division, School, Teacher Pass Rates
These reports are published after each benchmark
SOL Data - CIP Yearly School Data
These reports share division, school, and teacher pass rates per test
SOL Data - Find a student's pass rate on a previous SOL test (SOL Published Reports)
These reports are used to see the test forms and scores earned during a test administration for individual students
SOL - Potential Data Recovery Student List - Which students count twice on the SOL?
Students scoring below 400 the previous school year in Reading or Mathematics (GR4-8) have the potential to be recovery students, counting twice in both the numerator and denominator when calculating accreditation values during SOL testing. Therefore, it is important to address the needs of these students during school interventions (e.g., Tier 2 and Tier 3) and must get first recommendation for our After School Enrichment (ASE) Program so that these students receive remediation.
SOL - SDBQ Report by Test Form - The Count of Questions
This SDBQ protocol tells you how many questions per standard are on a specific SOL test - How many times was an SOL tested?
SOL - SDBQ Report by Content - The Percent Correct
This report is used to see trends in content strand and pass rates as compared to item difficulty.
SDBQ - Guidance/Questions for Teachers to Consider for Planning Instruction
It is important that SDBQ data are not used in isolation. Teachers and building-level administrators should use other formative and summative assessment data when planning instruction. It is essential that we target on-grade level instruction while folding in prerequisite skills and content.
What data will provide additional information about your students’ understanding of prerequisite skills and content?
What evidence will you look for that will show you that students have learned prerequisite skills and content?
If evidence shows students are approaching proficiency but not there yet, how will you scaffold current grade-level instruction?
Benchmark - Guidance for Teachers to Consider When Unpacking the CIP Benchmarks
It is important that we plan for instruction with the end in mind. At the start of each quarter, each teacher should unpack the CIP Benchmark to ensure their instruction matches the rigor of the assessment. Click the dropdown arrow for support documents.
