This seminar aims to help students improve their creative skills, highlight the value of creativity in diverse circumstances, and equip them to apply their knowledge in their future jobs.
Objectives
The Spark Your Creativity course offers Global BBA students a unique opportunity to explore and develop their creative potential in a supportive and inspiring environment. By embracing creativity as a fundamental aspect of management and leadership, students will be better equipped to tackle the challenges and opportunities of an ever-evolving global landscape.
The Spark Your Creativity course is designed to achieve the following objectives:
Learn why creativity is crucial for future managers and leaders to tackle challenges and drive innovation.
Unleash their creative potential: provide students with techniques to unleash their creativity and learn to think outside the box.
Be more open-minded: foster an environment that encourages openness to new ideas by sharing and challenging your with an emotional safety as a value-creating process.
Illustrate effective application of creativity across diverse contexts, encompassing academic settings, professional environments, and personal pursuits.
The seminar consists of lectures, teamwork in workshops led by a tutor, and a presentation of their project to the ESSEC community.

Students will maintain an inquisitive posture and ask questions as a way to open their minds.

Project
Design and outline your creative project.
The evaluation of the Spark Your Creativity course will be based on attendance, active participation, contribution to group projects, and your creative project. It will be a Pass or Fail.
The assessment criteria are as follows:
Attendance and participation: Attendance and active participation workshops, and lectures.
Contribution to team projects:
Create a project in teams of 2 or 3 people.
Reflection on personal creative processes and learning experiences, with evidence of growth and development over the course.
Show inspiration (with a moodboard), exploration, creativity and the consideration of the experience of your audience, as well as the impact of your team project (with one iteration).
Creative project: presentation of your project at the Creativity Fair.
