My name is Ru. Prior to the MoTIS program, I had more than five years of professional experience in the field of technology as a business analyst and data analyst. Before joining the program, I was involved in an English program located in the Paris area, and I obtained an SAP certification.

I decided to pursue an MSc in Management of Technology – Information Systems because I had a bachelor’s degree in Management of Information Systems and had been working in this area for several years. Given the rapid developments in this sector, I felt the need to return to school to update my knowledge. My experience as a business analyst, particularly working with SAP products, influenced my decision to specialize in this field.

The MoTIS program has been very beneficial. The requirement engineering course has been useful for collecting requirements from stakeholders. Additionally, the ERP SAP course introduced the latest SAP products and technologies. The Data Science course briefly covered various topics in the data universe, including SQL, Python, data management, and business intelligence, which was a particularly transformative experience.

At the moment, I do not have a company, so my current role and responsibilities are not applicable. Likewise, applying the skills and insights gained from the MoTIS program in daily work is not applicable at this time.

For future MoTIS students, I believe it is crucial to have basic knowledge about the workflow of deploying information systems. Proficiency in French is highly recommended when looking for an internship. Looking back, I would have been more interactive with professors and classmates during my time in the program.
