Hello, my name is Arshia Nadeem, and I am from Pakistan. I am a proud graduate of the MoTIS 15 program, and I’m honored to have been recognized as the top graduate of my cohort.
Regarding my academic background, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, where I was awarded a silver medal for my performance. After that, I decided to join the Master’s specialization in Management of Technology – Information Systems (MoTIS).
The MoTIS program truly serves as a bridge between technical and managerial skills. Whether you focus on management concepts or on technical expertise, MoTIS helps you understand the value of both and how they come together when applied in real-life situations. For me, this became very clear during my internship, where I was able to put theory into practice.
One of the aspects I love most about MoTIS is its international environment. In my class of 20 students, we represented 20 different countries. This diversity allowed us to share different ideas, perspectives, and approaches, which created a rich learning experience.
We didn’t just learn from the professors — we learned a lot from each other.
The professors in the MoTIS program go beyond teaching theory. They encourage us to think critically, grow professionally, and face real-world challenges with confidence. This guidance has been incredibly valuable to me.
As for my internship experience, I was fortunate to receive two offers: one from Air Liquide, an international company, where I worked as a Data Manager Intern within the Data Governance and Data Security team, and another from AXA, also an international company.
These internships allowed me to apply all the theoretical knowledge I gained throughout the program to real-world situations — which is one of the greatest strengths of MoTIS.
Thanks to MoTIS, I not only gained valuable international experience, but also built a strong foundation to bridge the gap between technical expertise and management, preparing me for the challenges ahead in my career.
