What is Pyramid Model?
The Pyramid Model is a positive behavioral intervention and support (PBIS) framework that uses systems-thinking and implementation science to promote evidence-based practices.
Pyramid Model is a fully inclusive UDL framework that helps teachers and systems to create high-quality early learning environments and practices where all students are supported and grow together as full members of their learning communities.
Here's a quick video that will provide you with an overview of the Pyramid Model.
The National Center for Pyramid Model Innovations (NCPMI)
NCPMI is a federally-funded project established to disseminate effective use of the Pyramid Model to support young children’s social, emotional and behavioral development through a variety of training and technical assistance activities. NCPMI improves and supports the capacity of state systems and local programs to implement the Pyramid Model for supporting social emotional competence in infants and young children. Pyramid Model is a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) for early learning.
The Pyramid Model Consortium (PMC)
PMC is a nonprofit, fee-for-service organization that was established to disseminate high-fidelity use of the Pyramid Model through training and technical assistance.
In January 2014, the Pyramid Model Consortium was created as a way to continue national Pyramid Model work. The Pyramid Model Consortium consists of the founding members of the CSEFEL, TACSEI and the Pyramid Model.
