Descriptor: Located in southern Ashland County, Ohio, Camp Nuhop is a week-long residential summer camp and respite program for children diagnosed with (but not limited to) ASD, ADHD, learning disabilities, mood disorders, and other neurodiversities. Camp Nuhop provides a structured environment where all campers have the opportunity to make friends and feel good about themselves. Descriptor: Thousands of children, families, and adults have walked the trails of Highbrook Lodge over the past 90+ years. They’ve witnessed how the spirit of camp – embodied by our campers, staff, and friends – makes Highbrook Lodge one of the best places on earth.
All of our campers, aged 0-99, are individuals living with low vision or blindness. We offer them a safe, well supervised, and supportive environment, as well as foster close-knit relationships where everyone is accepted.
Highbrook will not be running overnight sessions in 2021, but stay on the look out for special day trips!

OYO Camp provides a communication barrier-free, overnight camp experience that empowers each camper. ASL will be used throughout camp, as well as other forms of visual and oral communication.
