Descriptor: Early Intervention is for infants and toddlers from birth to age three who have a medical diagnosis or developmental delay, and for families who are concerned about a child’s development. Early Intervention is part of the Help Me Grow system of supports.
Early Intervention can address all types of concerns, including physical development like crawling or walking, speech delays and social interaction like playing with other children or smiling.
You know your child best. Talk to your child’s healthcare provider if you are concerned about your child’s development. If you still have concerns, contact Early Intervention (EI). They can help determine if your child needs services or not.

Descriptor: Epilepsy Association professionally trained staff are available to provide in-school or virtual educational presentations to staff and students on seizure first aid and basic epilepsy education. Staff training focuses on identifying and responding appropriately to different types of seizures as well as special considerations for students with epilepsy. A puppet show is available for preschool through 3rd grade students which focuses on basic epilepsy education and acceptance. Education for older students focuses on basic seizure first aid and dispelling epilepsy myths as well as addressing stigma. One-on-one resources are also available for families who have a child with epilepsy.

Descriptor: LiveSpecial.com is a FREE On-Line Resource Providing Information to Access Support Services for Families with a Loved One of any age (birth-elderly) with Special Needs. The site has a video gallery, we also do free programs through out the year. Our Caring Friends program will pair a child up with a Caring Friend (an NCJW/CLE volunteer) for a weekly, virtual visit.
Through Zoom or FaceTime, volunteers will read books and complete fun activities with their friend. Children - young adults will be paired with the same adult each week. Calls will be about 30 minutes, depending on the child.
