HARNESSING THE POWER OF THE DISTRICT IDENTIFICATION DASHBOARD


Participants will:

1) Understand Dashboard Functionality: Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the features and functionalities of the District Identification Dashboard, including how to navigate its various sections, interpret data visualizations, and utilize interactive elements to extract specific data insights.


2) Apply Data to Decision-Making: Attendees will learn how to apply data from the dashboard to inform decision-making processes, specifically in the areas of school improvement, student group performance monitoring, and resource allocation. This objective includes interpreting performance metrics, identifying trends, and understanding the impact of different student group identifications on overall school performance.


3) Develop Strategies for Improvement: Participants will be equipped to develop actionable strategies based on dashboard data, focusing on addressing gaps in student achievement, enhancing educational outcomes, and meeting federal and state accountability standards. This will involve scenario-based planning and the creation of targeted improvement plans that are responsive to the specific needs and challenges highlighted by the dashboard data.

The Leadership Roundtable will bring together a community of school leaders who will work together to improve instructional leadership in their schools.  The sessions will allow school leaders to identify proven leadership strategies that impact overall school improvement. 


Learning Objectives:

1. Understand and analyze cutting-edge theories and practices of instruction, curriculum development, assessment, and leadership.

2. Apply educational research techniques to implement data-driven decision making.

3.  Facilitate effective communication among all parties and stakeholders of the learning community.

4.  Prioritize issues and establish practical and achievable action plans which lead to improved teaching and learning.
