Lorain County Metro Parks Paid Student Internship 

We’re excited to share a paid internship opportunity for Summer 2026 in partnership with the Lorain County Metro Parks.Interested students should apply by 4:30pm, April 1, 2026 for consideration in the program.

The internship, called Explore U, is a unique experience designed to give students hands-on exposure to multiple departments within the Metro Parks system. This is a great opportunity for students considering careers in parks and recreation, environmental science, natural resources, wildlife conservation, law enforcement, event planning, landscaping, or outdoor education.

We have the capacity to accept 4–8 students, with 4 students as the minimum needed to run the program due to the time and coordination generously provided by the Metro Parks staff.
