ONLINE Practice Testing Criteria
Data shows that 3rd attempt results in 240 tutoring are not good predictors of success on the actual TExES. In place of the 240 tutoring 3rd exam results, candidates will need to contact TOPPstaff@esc20.net to register for an upcoming paper-based practice exam. A score of 10 percentage points above the state passing standard for each particular exam is required to obtain access to register for the TExES.

Paper-Based Practice Tests (PBT) Criteria
Scheduled paper-based tests (PBT) criteria: passing score 10% points above the state passing standard.
See State Passing Standards on ESC-20 Certifications Website.
Registration in advance required to attend In-Person PBT.
Candidates will be provided a score report within 48 hours (2 business days).

Candidates taking an in-person practice test will be notified in 48 hours (business days) if exam is passed.
Email will be sent to candidate granting test approval.
Register for exam at: http://www.tx.nesinc.com/
Continuing studying for exam until the day of exam.
Candidate to take official TExES within 30-days of being granted test approval.
Exited from program should exam not be passed within four months.
