Match Format

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Each team will compete in a match of Best-of-3 sets, where each player will compete in a set of Best-of-3 games against a player from the opposing team.

Example:

The winning team of the match will be determined by the team to win two of the three sets.  During the group stage, all 3 sets will be played concurrently, regardless of the individual outcomes.  This is to allow all students in the team to play.  In the 3rd Place and Championship match, each set will be played individually on the main stage, with Set 3 only being played if needed.

Group Stage:

The group stage will consist of 4 groups, each with their own double elimination bracket.  The top 2 teams in each group will advance to the Top 8.

Top 8:

The Top 8 stage will consist of a single elimination bracket.  There will be a 3rd Place match and Championship match.  Both the 3rd Place match and Championship match will be played on the main stage and each set will be played one at a time.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Teams will be competing in a leaderboard style competition using the Time Trial, 150cc game mode.  Teams will compete in 4 different courses, with each team member able to only compete in one course.  Each player will only have 10 minutes to record and submit their best score for their track.

A team will receive points based on the results from each individual course's leaderboard.  Once all 4 courses are complete, points will be added up and ranked based on the teams with the most points.  The point system used for each course is as follows:
