A shared practices webinar recording about Tools for Teachers hosted by the CDE and featuring educators from two California LEAs. Webinar attendees will hear from California educators regarding using Tools for Teachers instructional resources, ideas for adapting instructional resources during distance learning, and how Interim Connections Playlists–a key resource in Tools for Teachers 2020 can be used in conjunction with the Interim Assessment Blocks to find and fill learning gaps using the formative assessment process.

COVID-19 LACOE- Curriculum & Instructional Services Open Educational Resources
As Los Angeles County Districts/Schools are taking precautionary measures to ensure that not only the health and safety of their students, staff, and community, but mitigating the CoronaVirus community spread by reducing physical contact. The Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) Curriculum & Instructional Services-Center for Distance and Online Learning recognizes the support districts and schools need with this priority. Starting the week of April 21, 2020 we will host weekly Zoom professional learning sessions (PLS) to support educators to best serve English learners as we transition into distance learning. We hope that this will be a venue for educators from throughout California to gather, learn, and exchange ideas.
