Parent Corner - share ideas with parents for how they can help students see math in their everyday lives. Make this available on school website.      i.e.  How long will it take us to get to your basketball practice?  How do you know? How much would these items cost? What does that 2 on the door represent?  Lists of books parents could read to/with child. Reading books that emphasize math vocabulary e.g. around, over, under, above etc.
