As part of our writing lesson this week we practised 'sketchnoting'. We read and highlighted interesting sections of our personal research about the Bermuda Triangle, then recorded these as sketches. We are practising using symbols and drawings as memory aids.
MS worked together with a partner to extract information from the text and the iPad. Well done!

This week 6.2 looked closely at the UN Rights of the Child Convention and chose certain articles to become more familiar with. We created shields as a symbol of how we understand and defend these rights!

We have spent this week making leaflets all about travelling safely through the Bermuda Triangle, and in the process have unlocked some fabulously imaginative solutions to mythical issues found in this part of the ocean! Well done 6.2, excellent effort in your writing!
AK took pride in her leaflet and produced some fantastic work.

This week the Parent Teacher Council organised a fantastic silent disco for classes throughout the school. We all had an amazing time and enjoyed choosing which music we listened to. Teachers had a ball too...! Big thank you to the parent council from 6.2.
