Meet Our Horses

Angel is a firm favourite on the Equi-Power team, arriving in August 2021. 

She is a piebald cob mare, with a kind eye and sweet nature. Angel has become a relaxed RDA pony and is a sensitive and giving EFL pony, known for her huge moustache! She is great friends with Hugo.

Rider weight limit 8.5 stone / 54 kg.

A very affectionate boy, Hugo arrived with successful dressage and showing experiences under his belt. He is a versatile RDA horse, taking both riders and vaulters to National Championships in 2025.

Standing at 14.3hh, he is popular with everyone and a firm favourite on the yard.

Rider weight limit 11 stone / 69kg,
vaulter weight limit 10 stone.

2006 - 2024

A 15hh cob gelding purchased for the group with support from The Wooden Spoon Charity.  

A super friendly chap, Laddie loved his food, and everyone who came to see him. Laddie was an allrounder who supported our participants with vaulting, riding, horse care, Tea With A Pony and countryside challenge. Being very well schooled, he also participated in RDA dressage competitions. 

2008 - 2025

A 16.3hh warmblood mare, Dana was a very friendly and gentle horse who came to us from a riding school and had previously been a show jumper. 

Dana took part in all of our activities, and carried some of our team all the way to the National Championships in 2025. She loved a competition and was in her element in the vaulting arena, taking our young vaulters to numerous successes over the last few years.
