About Us

Who we are

Equi-Power is a multi-award-winning independent charity (SC045949) and member group of the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA). We work with schools, care homes, private clients, and local authority referral clients and we are an approved provider for Stirling Council’s Social Inclusion Framework.

What we do

Equi-Power delivers a range of therapeutic and competitive horse-related activities for people of all ages living with physical, learning, invisible and age-related disabilities, additional support needs, neurodiversity, and disabling mental health challenges. Our participants experience improved health and well-being, grow in confidence, develop new skills, make friends, achieve goals, and experience greater enjoyment of life.

Our Affiliations

We are proud to be affiliated to Horses in Education and Therapy International (HETI), British Equestrian Vaulting (BEV), Scottish Equestrian Vaulting (SEV), HorseScotland, Forth Valley Disability Sport, Stirlingshire Voluntary Enterprise and ClubSport Stirling.

Our Achievements

Our participants compete at local, regional, and national levels. We are an award-winning charity and were proud to be shortlisted finalists for SCVO's Scottish Small Charity of the Year 2024. In 2025 some of our riders and vaulters achieved success at National Championships in Hartpury. Check out our News page to see more!
