For all grade levels, students have a voice recording assignment each quarter. Assignments are uploaded to your Google Classroom account.
For the 1st quarter, students may sing any song, or part of a song that they choose, with background music or a cappella. Recordings should be about 2-3 minutes in length, or enough for me to get a good sense of your voice and range.
For the 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarters, students can choose to sing any of the songs from our winter concert. Students should sing the whole song along with the mp3 when available below, unless otherwise noted.
We're now using MakeMusic.com for recordings! There, you can make recordings in the website without having to upload them to Google Classroom. More details will be shared in class.

IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER:
All recordings MUST begin with " Hi, Mr. Rappa, this is ___________, and I will be singing ____________" or points will be taken off your grade!
After completing the recording, please upload file to the assignment to google classroom.
The voice memo/recorder app that's already on your phone works well, especially if you have the google classroom app installed on the phone. You can easily upload your recording directly to the assignment.
If you want to use the laptop to record, here is a link to an online recorder that I really like http://vocaroo.com/ (See instructions below)
Just make sure you turn off the "remove background noise" option so it records your background music!
