All-State Auditions

AUDITIONS ARE HERE!  We're in the final days to prepare.

What do we need to know?

• • Audition Date: This Saturday, November 15, 2025 @ Ponaganset HS

  • See the audition schedule above on the RIMEA website.

  • Here are driving directions and a campus map of Ponaganset High School

• • In case you may get lost, plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before your audition to be able to relax a bit.
    
    

  • When you arrive:

    • I will be running around, but will be available through parent-square in case anyone gets lost, runs late, or can't find me when you arrive. Please contact me when you get there.

    • There is no need to check in this year - you can head to the auditorium to warm up, or directly to your audition room. 

    • Parents are welcome to wait in Warm-Up Spaces (Library, Cafeteria, and Auditorium

    • If you're not already warmed up, vocally, you can head to the auditorium to warm up. There will be many other music students and teachers there, and we often group together around the piano to warm up together. It's fun!

    • You will need an official copy of the music, which I will give you, for the audition. You may bring your own photocopy as well, if you need any notes you've written for yourself.

* Please check the dates of all rehearsals and the performance carefully, as you are not allowed to miss any rehearsal or you cannot perform in the concert.

• 2/4 Junior All-State Treble (JATC) & Mixed (JAMC) Choruses rehearsal
  5:45-8:15 p.m. @ TBA - JATC

• 2/5 Rehearsal snow date (only if needed)

• 2/7 Elementary All-State Chorus Rehearsal, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm @ Feinstein MS of Coventry

• 3/13 Junior All-State Treble Choruses Rehearsal, 9:15 am - 4:15 pm @ TBA

• 3/13 Junior All-State Mixed Chorus Rehearsal, 9:45 am - 4:45 pm @ TBA
