There are 6 Raiders teams that compete in Volleyball at Vimy Ridge Academy: High School Boys, High School Girls, Junior High Senior Boys, Junior High Senior Girls, Junior High Junior Boys, Junior High Junior Girls. The High School teams consist of grade 10, 11 and 12 players that compete in the Metro Edmonton High School Athletic Association. The Junior High Volleyball teams compete in the Tier 1 City Conference in the Edmonton Public Schools Athletics League. The Senior teams consist mainly of grade 7, 8 and 9 students, while our junior teams consist mainly of grade 7 and 8 students. Our volleyball teams consistently compete for city championships on an annual basis. Tryouts begin in September and the season continues until the end of November.
