HIGH SCHOOL coed golf

The High School Golf team at Vimy Ridge is broken up into two separate seasons. The first competitive season takes place during the months of September and October.  During this season, a boy’s and girl’s team represent Vimy Ridge at both the Metro Championship Tournament and, when we qualify, the ASAA Provincial Golf Championship.  The second tournament season takes place during the month of May. This can include students who have never competed in a formal golf tournament. This is an opportunity for them to try tournament play.

Seasons:

1) Competitive Season

  - The month of September

     a) Zone Tournament - Usually held during 3rd week of September (Top 3 golfers and top 2 teams qualify for Provincials)

        i) Boys Zone Tournament - Held at The Links Golf Course in Spruce Grove (Sept. 19th, 2023)

        ii) Girls Zone Tournament - Held at Stony Plain Golf Course (Sept. 19th, 2023)

    b) Provincial Tournament - Location varies from year to year.

          - A two day tournament at two different courses (Boys and Girls alternate courses on different days)

2) Tournament Season

   - The month of May

       a) Multiple tournaments hosted by other schools.
