UPCOMING EVENTS September 2026

High School Volleyball - Men's and Women's

• Tryouts will take place for the girls in the Large Gym after school on September 1st, 2nd and 3rd - See Ms. Youngs or Mr. Sande with any questions regarding the Volleyball season 

• Boys tryouts  will begin Monday August 31st, 2026 after school in the Large Gym. The second tryout will take place Tuesday September 1st in OHall 

Junior High Volleyball (Boys and Girls Jr and Sr)

• JH Sr Girls Tryouts will start Tuesday September 8th, 2026 after school in Ohall - Please see Ms. Noble with any questions you may have 

• JH Sr Boys Tryouts will start Tuesday September 15th, 2026 After School In Ohall - See Mrs. Hansen with any question about Junior High Boys Volleyball

High School Girls Flag Football 

• There will be an interest meeting on Tuesday September 1st Room 131 - Question can be directed to Mr. Patter or Ms. Ilkiw

  • Tryouts: September 3rd, 2026 - @ 7am 

    • September 8th, 2026 @ 7am

High School Cross Country 

• Any questions regarding Jr High and High school cross country can be directed to Mr. Duxbury and Mr. Biddulph. There will be a meeting at a later date - stay tuned to Vimy TV and Social Media for more information 

• Race dates: 

  • September 9th @ 4:30pm - Capilano Park (Rookie Race)

  • September 16th @ 4:30 - Kinsmen Park (Team Relay)

  • September 28th @ 4:30 Goldbar Park 

  • October 7th @ 1pm - Rundle Park (Metro Athletics Championship)

Junior High Cross Country - 

• There will be a Junior HIgh Cross country meeting Friday September 4th, 2026 in the Coaches Lounge

  • Relay Race - Team 

    • Tuesday, September 15, 2025 @ Hawrelak Park - 4:15 p.m. 

    • Tuesday, September 22, 2026 @  North East River Valley (903 153 Ave NE) 

    • Tuesday, Sept 29, 2026 @ Rundle Park - 4:30 p.m (Orienteering Run)

    • Tuesday October 6th, 2026 @ Gold Bar Park - 10:30-2:00 pm - Students will be required to miss class on this day
