There are 6 Raiders teams that compete in Basketball at Vimy Ridge Academy: High School Boys, High School Girls, Junior High Senior Boys, Junior High Senior Girls, Junior High Junior Boys, Junior High Junior Girls. The High School teams consist of grade 10, 11 and 12 players that compete in the Metro Edmonton High School Athletic Association. The Junior High Basketball teams compete in the Tier 1 City Conference in the Edmonton Public Schools Athletics League. The Senior teams are made up of grade 7, 8 and 9 students, while our Junior teams consist mainly of grade 7 and 8 students. Our Basketball teams consistently compete for city championships on an annual basis. Tryouts begin in December and the season continues until the end of March.
