Our personal wellness can be thought of as a wheel made up of many parts. We can have areas of strength, where we are doing very well, and other areas that may need some work.
Physical wellness: Things like movement, diet, sleep, and behaviours.
Intellectual wellness: Expanding your knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Emotional wellness: Being able to express all your feelings and cope with stress.
Spiritual wellness: Thinking about your purpose and meaning in life based on your values and beliefs.
Environmental wellness: Thinking about sustaining our planet and being in nature.
Financial wellness: Making responsible financial decisions and setting goals.
Occupational wellness: Doing work that is meaningful and enjoyable.
Social wellness: Feeling like you belong and have positive relationships with others.

Anxiety is actually a very normal reaction! It is like our body's alarm system or a barking dog, alerting us when there is a perceived threat and helping us prepare to deal with it. A normal amount of anxiety helps to protect us and prepare us to deal with challenges we meet in our daily lives. However, if your anxiety response goes off when there's no real or immediate danger, if it happens a lot or all the time and feels pretty intense, and disrupts your life and the things you like to do, it might be a problem for you.
