Our Approach to Learning

This sheltered cohort supports students who are learning English. With targeted literacy and vocabulary instruction, students develop their English language proficiency and skills in order to be successful in classes necessary for a high school diploma and further post-secondary education. Each pathway for high school completion is individualized to support a strong English language foundation. Students are able to attend mainstream academic and complementary classes in their areas of strength at Dr. Anne Anderson.
