If you haven't done this yet, please make sure you do it, as it is for marks!
Use your Math Skills to ESTIMATE the volume of this Camera.
What do you see that can help you do this?
Is there a way you can find out the actual Volume? How?
Your Responses (Use FlipGrid):
To find the actual Volume, it's a little trickier than using a rectangular prism. The camera is an odd assortment or bumps and indentations that make finding the volume difficult. Archimedes' found the solution out back in the 3rd century BC (the story in the attached video shows how). In the video Mr. Greeniaus made, he shows us how we can find it out with the conveniently waterproof camera.
So what is a Power?
A Power is a short way of writing a repeating multiplication, a Power looks like this:
42 means the 4 is multiplied by itself 2 times. 4 x 4 = 16
Each part of this power has a special name.
The BASE is the number that will be multiplied by itself again and again.
The EXPONENT represents the number of bases to be multiplied.
The POWER is the combination of the BASE and EXPONENT.
