This is my seventeenth year as a speech-language pathologist in the public schools. I worked for six years in Pekin District #108, then became a "stay at home mom" to raise my two sons. This is my eleventh year teaching in District #86, and I love working with the children and parents of East Peoria! I graduated from Western Illinois University in May of 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. In May of 1994 I received a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Western Illinois University. I hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), a Professional Educator License with a Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement from the State of Illinois, and I am a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist through the State of Illinois . I have been married to my wonderful husband for 24 years, he is also a teacher and works at East Peoria Community High School. We have two great boys, Grant and Cole. We also have a cat named Dexter. I enjoy watching my children play sports, reading and flower gardening. Please feel free to contact me at any time with questions or concerns!
My mission is to work with each child to achieve their communication goals!
My personal mission is to be a life-long learner to continually improve my
ability to serve the children I work with.
