About

Mrs. Predovich

This year I will have the pleasure of being your child’s Math and Science teacher. I have taught in preschool through 3rd Grade. This will be my second year teaching 5th Grade; however I have been teaching at Elmwood for 12 years.

I grew up in Elmwood Park, and went through the public school system. I attended both John Mills and Elmwood Park High School. I graduated college from Northeastern Illinois University with an Early Childhood and Elementary Degree. I earned a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University, and an ESL/Bilingual Endorsement from Northern Illinois University. I currently live in River Grove with my husband Mark and two children, Tommy and Kerri. I am also a grandma of a little girl, Allison. When I am not teaching or being a mom/grandma, I involve myself with many volunteer activities.

I was drawn to the teaching profession because I enjoy working with children. I view teaching as a constant challenge that is seldom, if ever, boring. The realization that a teacher can introduce children to new worlds of information and open up new possibilities daily was motivation in itself for me to select teaching as a profession many years ago.
