Students enrolled in AP courses are strongly encouraged to take the corresponding AP Exams, which are paid for by EPASD. All AP Exams are opt-out; students who do not wish to take an exam must formally decline during the College Board–designated registration window. Information about opt-out forms is shared with students via Google Classroom, with additional reminders sent through student email and provided during class. Students who previously opted out and later wish to opt back in after the deadline will be charged an additional $40 late fee, as required by the College Board.
