Salvete omnes! I've started this page in effort to keep students and parents in the loop for Latin. There are classroom updates and information on Latin Club events on corresponding pages. Latin is no longer a language with native speakers, but it continues to be a rich source of history, literature, art, and inspiration to this day. It is my goal to develop students who work hard and believe in themselves, and who can have fun and relax while learning something very few students have the privilege to learn.
It is my earnest belief that homework is not necessary for students to receive adequate practice in my classroom. I give time in class to do everything assigned, and am available to help students when they get stuck. I want to encourage students to ask for help when they need it and to not get so discouraged that they are tempted to cheat.Â

For extra credit to start off the year, bring in up to 2 boxes of tissues (3 pts each) or a bottle of hand sanitizer (5 pts). You may utilize this opportunity at any point in the year, but only once per semester.
You may also earn extra credit by submitting examples of "Latin in the real world." If you find Latin out in the wild (a motto, seal, etc.), fill out this form with a photo of the finding. You may earn up to 10 points per semester (1 pt per example).
