Where: East Peoria Community High School
Who: 9th - 11th grade students (please reference their respective tests below)
What: American College Testing (ACT). The ACT (11th grade students will take this) is an assessment designed to measure how well you understand what you’ve learned in high school. It covers coursework in English, mathematics, reading, and science—with an optional writing test. Students will take the digital test on their school-issued Chromebook.
Why: Scores from the administration of the ACT with Writing (if taken with ACT Standard Time or ACT-approved accommodations) can be used by students for a variety of purposes including college admission, scholarships, and NCAA eligibility. Taking the SAT is a State of Illinois graduation requirement.
