What is your goal for the year?
By the end of the year, we will have defined expectations for the digital portfolio and the culminating event that has board-member buy-in and support. Also, students will use their portfolios to guide their student-led conferences. Also have a better alignment and linkage between ICAP standards, graduate profile, grad guidelines and best-practice portfolio design.

Also, students will use their portfolios to guide their student-led conferences. Also have a better alignment and linkage between ICAP standards, graduate profile, grad guidelines and best-practice portfolio design.

I think we need to be part of all of them! But especially #2-5. We have a graduate profile with good definitions. i think we need time to define the tasks associated with the competencies and then we need to use those to help build rubrics for each of those competencies. This will be very doable since we have the "looks like and feels like" text for each "C" already defined. Then we need to discuss what will be common about the portfolio and what will be unique at each gradelevel. Finally we need to better define what we want to ask of students as far as authentic audiences and experiences for students to reflect, defend and justify.
