UPCOMING EVENTS:  GRADUATION PERFORMANCE, 2022 

• Graduation Rehearsal - Friday morning  (May 20):  8:30-10:30am:  

  1. 1. 1.  You will be excused from class Friday morning. 

• Graduation Performance - Saturday morning (May 21):  8:05-11:15am (please plan accordingly):  

1. Attire:   Nice pants & shoes, nice or casual top (nothing too hot), Choir Robe (make sure you iron or steam your Choir Robe BEFORE Saturday!)

2. Arrive:  8:05am -  Choir Room:  warm-ups, get Choir Robe on, get to the Field House and into places  

3. Graduation:  9:00-11:00am - we will be seated in chairs next to the staging area, then walk to perform on the risers.  You will be visible throughout the ceremony, so please remember choices accordingly.

4. Clean up/hang robe up in Choir Room in Numerical Order/dismissal:  11:15am (estimated time)

• Friday, October 22:  Choir T-shirt $$ Due for Uniform!  (Make sure to wash & prepare shirt for following weeks' performance!)

• Monday, October 25:  ALL CHOIRS 7th Period/AFTER SCHOOL FLASH MOB & Rehearse for District Choir Tour  3:30-4:15 

• Friday, October 29:  District Choir Tour (make sure your permission form is in NO LATER than Oct. 22), ATTIRE:  Choir T-shirt

• Wed, Dec. 1: All State Rehearsal/Check-in (Molly & Aidan), 3:30-4:30pm

• Saturday, Dec. 4:  All EHS Choirs Perform @ City of Englewood Tree Lighting, Meeting Time:  4:15pm; Performance Time: 4:45-5:25 and then the tree is lit at 5:30 -  WE WILL HELP WITH THE COUNTDOWN!

• Tues., Dec. 7:  Choir Leadership, 3:30-4:00pm

• Tues., Dec. 7:  All State Rehearsal/Check-in (Molly & Aidan), 4:00-5:00pm

• Wed/Thur., Dec. 8 & 9:  All EHS Choirs:  Melodic Sight-Reading Pre-Test: 

• Monday, Dec. 13:  All Choirs: Rehearse for Holiday Concert, 4:00-8:30pm

• Tues., Dec. 14:  All Choirs:  All State Ticket $8.00 due

Thursday, December 16th, 2021; 7:00pm

• Concert begins at 7:00pm

• Students must arrive in uniform by 6:15pm (High School) or 6:20pm (Middle School) for warm-ups.  Meet in Choir Room.

• This is also MANDATORY attendance as was stated at the beginning of the year and in the choir handbook (as are all performances).

• Attire-High School:  Black & White + Choir Group Feature Color

• Attire-Middle School: Choir T-shirt & black pants

EHS Choirs' Vocal Ensembles Host "Music In Our Schools Month" (MIOSM) Concert!

Thursday, March 18th, 2021 

As you may have heard in announcements, March is “Music In Our Schools Month”:  a nation-wide celebration of the value, importance and rewards of music in schools!  The EHS Choirs’ Vocal Ensemble participants (along with ensembles from Middle- and Elementary Schools) are excited to be celebrating M.I.O.S.M. once again by hosting our annual District-wide Concert via Live Stream & Video Performance, and you are invited!

• Theme:  “Music of Hope, Inspiration, & Unity".

• Date & Time: THIS Thursday, March 18th, 6:30pm

• Who: Englewood District Choirs, Solos/Duets/Ensembles, Piano, & other Music Groups from Elementary, Middle- and High Schools will be featured.

• Fun Fact:  Our first performance since COVID 1 year ago (!) - bringing music back to the concert "stages" (literally or online) of our schools!

While things look a LOT different this year, we are still happy that High School, Middle School, and Elementary students will be represented in this annual collaboration!
