I am a new librarian at IES Linköping. I help students take out and return books. I also help with organizing the library and inspiring young people to read more.
I have been here for 1 month.
I am a huge fan of the Georgia Nicholson books by Louise Rennison. It is a series about a young girl in England, and she keeps a funny diary. I read all of them when I was younger and they are still my favourite.
My favourite book of all time is Life of Pi by Yann Martel. I have read it five times.
I think I would want to be Nancy Drew. She is a young detective. She always has such fun adventures.
I am our school's librarian. That means that I plan and organize the library and is responsible for its activities. As a student you can find me in the library or meet me when I have lessons in Media and Information Literacy. This year I also teach three classes in Social Studies.
I have been here from the beginning in yr 2003. It has been great fun to build a library from scratch with the help of teachers and students.
The Harry Potter series are absolut favourites. Read them, just do it!
I have to tell you, I have a couple of favourites. One of them is Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson.
Well, professor McGonagall of course...
I am a teacher librarian. This year you can find me in the library on Wednesdays. The rest of the week I will be teaching Music.
I've worked at IES Linköping for just over one year now. It is great to work at such a hardworking school with motivated staff and students.
There are too many to choose! Last year I read a great book called Wonder by R.J. Palacio, that would definitely be one of my favourites. I also love Harry Potter and Roald Dahl.
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. (We do have this in our library but there were too many others that I also liked!)
Matilda, she is awesome!
In 2003 the library could be found on the third floor, in the old library from the Teachers Academy. The library expanded first time in 2005 and finally in 2012 we moved up to the forth floor; to 150 square metres and by then we had over 800 students and more than 10 000 books.
This picture is from when the library was situated on the third floor.
