The school is now offering students the opportunity to listen to their subject textbooks. When you go to the login, you choose Google and can then log in on your student account. There is also an app you can download to listen through your mobile telephone or tablet.

IES has an agreement for Oribi Speak (talsynth/text to speech software) and Appwriter Cloud to Chrome.

1. Go to the above link in a Google Chrome browser.
2. Click on “Free” and accept the Oribi add-on.
3. After that you will see the configuration screen for Oribi Speak, and can configure it as you please.

It should appear as an extension further down the page. Once you have found it use your IES email address to register. You will receive account information in a mail from lingapps with your new password. This works for staff and students.
Legimus' talking books are produced in accordance with an exception to the Copyright Act. They have been specially recorded for people who have reading difficulties. If you have an account you can download talking books directly from the Legimus catalogue.
Our library will provide you with a username, password and guide of how to use it. Any Chromebook (webbspelaren) will allow you to listen to your books, alternatively download the app and listen while your on the go. Legimus is a fantastic resource giving so much support and advice, you can also find their book tips here.

You can borrow audio books or e-books from Götabiblioteken. Come to library to get started.
Many e-books must be bought, or loaned by libraries. But some are accessible due to the fact that copyright doesn't apply if the author has been dead more than 70 years.
