In class, cluster 2 students were introduced to their first project: The Clock Project. They got to work on their pendulum clocks using CAD in the computer lab and manufactured them in the design studio. They used equations to predict the oscillation frequency and period and simulated how their pendulum clocks would tick before putting them together.
Students were taught how to use CAD to make an escapement wheel and came up with their own designs for the pendulum clock. Later, they put these pieces together to assemble the final clock.
Every day after dinner at 5:00-6 :15, everyone participated in the the programmed activities. The programs changed every day so that students could try out a variety of new things such as bracelet making, dodgeball, crocheting, and more.

Outside of class, cluster 2 worked on their skit for COSMOlympics. They worked together on posters and came up with a script based on the show Hell's Kitchen.
