Sponsor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments
We were looking too broadly for transcranial ultrasound devices, certain companies make ultrasound devices complete with headgear and software to analyze data. These do not work for our application since they are not designed to be long-term and also far exceed the budget. We will narrow down our search to just the transducer itself.
Instructor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments
How would the device be able to detect movement?
By a decrease in the signal
In which direction will the probe need to move?
After this week’s meeting with our sponsor, we need to design a probe that’s able to move in the x,y direction, tilted around the x axis, and rotated in place.
Risks and Areas of Concern
Hardware must be light and allow the wearer to be tilted on wedge (can’t constrict movement).
