Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
The 36 coil array is assembled and 9 of the coils are connected for testing.
The 9 coils can stir the vials at higher RPMs than before.
Accomplishments from Previous Week
Secure the assembly of the magnetic steel plates, iron cores and the coils for the 36 coil array.
Design the inner layout for the components in the housing.
Test the 36 coil array.
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Design the PCB (ECE-Joshua)
Design the inner layout for the components in the housing (MAE-Anna)
Investigate battery selection, and test the coils with battery connected (MAE & ECE- Seth and Rendale)
Purchase material for the housing of final design. (MAE-Anna and Seth)

Concerns about finishing the project on time.
It was week 6 and we did not have the basic functionality of the device working, which was it spinning.
We worked on this extensively this weekend and have the device spinning at high RPM.
We are going to meet again on Tuesday and show our sponsor the updated testing result.

Suggest to connect each battery to a portion of the coils, and use diode to allow current to go in one direction.
Concerns about the frequency of PWM.
Concerns about whether the magnetic field could switch fast enough.
Suggest to put the inductive charging set away from the coil array, since it might interfere with the coils.
Need more work on the report.
