Sponsor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments
Get mechanics working for prototype, if we have time, we could find a way to reduce noise
Working on motors and heater
Make the presentation with the intention that a few of the people will know nothing of the project
Used some of our earlier material from presentations
Want to also have the device be a warmer with no mechanical response
Incorporating a switch such that no mechanical response takes place
Any sharp edges is not good
Filleted all the top edges
Rather have mattress fully sealed
Made skin layer larger to encompass other layers
Test Rebound on sharp corner
Rebound performs fine
Instructor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments
Delrin is better than acrylic
Found it was expensive
Will look into further for report
If need more money for quality, ask sponsor
Told sponsor, and he agreed on an additional 100 dollars
Purchased a bigger power supply
Nice to see in poster the different pieces we made
Took a picture of our different samples
Placed in poster
Placed in presentation
Risks and Areas of Concern
Air bubbles within mattress
Acrylic pieces that hold nuts might not be a long term solution
Motor drivers are overheating
Bigger power supply might not work
Might need to splice multiple 3A power supplies instead
Resources or Information Required but not Available
None at this moment
Schedule
Describe upcoming milestone
