Guidelines for Report
Weekly Progress Reports should be printed out before meetings with the sponsor and instructor.
All team members should be able to explain all items on the progress report.
To start a new progress report, create a new webpage and use the Progress Report Template.
Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
The buoy is assembled, the camera, router, solar panels, and batteries work. We're testing the system to generate more solar and energy use data
Accomplishments from Previous Week
A PVC solar panel frame has been built and the solar panels attached
The solar panels were tested and deliver the rated voltage
The panel control box has been used to log data
The energy systems have been wired and voltage converted for the router
The wiring has been cleaned up and a master power switch added
Circuit Breaker added
The camera and router are transmitting wireless video to laptops
The Perfect Horizon was mounted to the buoy frame and the camera to the PH
We've worked on the poster, report, and website
Mitchell Plate CNC work completed
Buoyancy and structural test complete in Canyon View pool
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Edit the report, poster, and website (All)
finish report poster and website
Mitchell Plate touching up and inspection (All)
Continue system testing, logging data (All)
Gather morning (Trong, Nick), noon (Bryant Ogi Sarah), evening (Bryant Ogi Sarah) Data
Gather marine layer data (All)
Produce Graphs of Data (Trong)
Test solar production while the buoy is in the pool and at different orientations (All)

Risks and Areas of Concern
Without the fuel cell the buoy will not hit its target for self-sustaining power
The Perfect Horizon has an unstable control system that can shake a 3000lbs mill
Resources or Information Required but not Available
A working EFOY fuel cell

Budget (list amount spent and amount remaining)
Budget spent = $1,227.12 out of $3,000
Progress on Report and Webpage
The report has been edited with empirical data for the solar panels and energy consumption
The webpage has new images of the buoy and its systems in use
