Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Design is finalized and fabrication is finalized. Slight changes to the sled has been made once dry-land testing was completed and results were obtained.
Accomplishments from Previous Week
Completed two dry-run tests at Mariner's Point Park with the sponsors.
Results of tests were observed and noted and slight alterations to the sled had to be made.
Half of the sled base plate was cut off to allow for the sand to flow easier, without compacting under the sled.
A cross member was welded along the width of the sled for better support.
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.

Sponsor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
Sponsors wanted to cut off some of the base plate, because the dry run testing showed sand compacting under the sled causing a load on the sled that bent the steel bar. Therefore, the base plate was cut in half and the bar was bent back into place and a cross member was welded for support.
