Notes from meeting with Dr. Mazzei on 5/15/2012:
He discussed the idea of mounting on the rail with other ActMD personnel:
All of the rails are not the same size
If the device is to also be used on heparinized saline bags, then is can't mount only to an operating table
He would prefer the device to be mounted on the IV pole itself
He likes that as the device closes, the crank unwinds and provides a visual indication that the device is working
He would like the final materials choices to allow for the bag to be seen through the device
He liked that the likelihood of getting fingers caught in the device is reduced by the crank design
If we have time to, we should try attaching the CO2 canister that we have to the infusion bladder just to see what happens

Notes from meeting with Dr. Delson on 5/15/2012:
It is very important that everyone wear safety goggles when we do test the device because there is a chance of the plastic shattering
Add colors to the Solidworks design of the new device so that it is easier to distinguish the different parts
If we continue with the winch design, we need to look into higher quality cables
With all of the cables we have to know how to terminate the cables and also, how to ensure that they are all equally tensioned
Our current design meets most of what the client wants
The clamp design should be re-looked at, because it could still be a simple solution.
