Lake Park Counseling Offers Masters Levels Interns
There are many excellent reasons to choose a Masters Level Intern at Lake Park Counseling:
Masters level interns have or are working towards their Masters in professional counseling or clinical social work. Often, they have already graduated from their masters level program and may have even passed their licensure exam, but are simply waiting to obtain their degree and licensure from the state.
Masters level Interns at Lake Park have or are seeking their degree from excellent academic programs such as Loyola University, the Adler School of Professional Psychology, the University of Chicago's Crown School of of Social Services, and more.
Interns are very closely supervised by a fully licensed Clinical Supervisor who they meet with at least weekly, often more, and as needed to discuss and consult about clinical issues and best practices.
Interns are constantly learning the most up to date and current practices in the field, as they are currently in or have just graduated from an academic program and have been emmersed in learning current therapy modalities and techniques, and have been closely supervised and advised by professors and acadmic advisors in the field.
Interns are immensly invested in and devoted to their work with clients as their main focus at this time in their career us providing the best possible clinical care and learning about their clientele to grow as a clinician.
Interns may be more affordable and more accessible. Beucase they are just starting out, Interns tend to have more availability to meet at hours that suit your needs. They may have more openings and can be more availalbe to start therapy without being put on a wiating list. Interns may also be more affordable than other therapists at the practice.
