Lake Park Counseling (LPC) is a small but growing mental health practice serving Chicago's south side area and beyond and is actively seeking licensed mental health counselors to provide therapy services to the surrounding community.

Clinical Therapist Job Description:
Job Requirements:
Current independent Illinois-licensed, LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, PsyD.-OR- LSW/LCP seeking supervision, working toward Illinois licensure. (Provisionally licensed candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis.)
Masters or Doctorate Degree from an accredited university.
Willingness to work a minimum of 15 Clinical Hours per week, ideally up to 25 hours or
more.
‒ Full-time is considered 25 clinical hours or more a week.
‒ Part-time is considered between 15-25 clinical hours per week.
Ability to work some weekends and evenings, based on an agreed-upon schedule.
Commitment to anti-racist work, as well as equity and inclusion within the field.
Openness to serving under-resourced populations at sliding scale fees.
Good to Have but Not Required:
Prior private practice experience.
Prior paneling with insurance.
A therapy niche or niches (e.g., children, teens, couples, trauma, EMDR, experience.
working with BIPOC and LGBTQIA clients/families, etc.)
Willingness/ability to market and grow your referral base.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide individual, family, couples and/or group therapy to our clients.
Complete timely clinical notes and documentation.
Efficient and timely communication to ECC regarding billing.
Collaboration regarding work schedule upon hiring and ongoing, as needed (i.e., days of
week, times of day, and number of clinical hours per week.)
Attend weekly individual and monthly group clinical case supervision, as well as
quarterly staff meetings to establish and maintain connection to the practice.
Adherence to our values and vision of service, social justice, collaboration, best
practices, and integrity.
Strive to be detail-oriented, timely, transparent in communication style, open to
professional growth and learning new modes of therapy, and up to date with best practices.
Clinical Therapist Compensation:
$55 per clinical hour (i.e., billable session time/documentation) for fully licensed therapists (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT).
$40 per clinical hour for provisionally licensed therapists (LSW, LCPs) who will also gain clinical supervision hours towards their license from the practice at no cost.
$60 per clinical hour for licensed psychologists and PhD-level therapists.
$18 per hour per administrative hour (i.e., individual/group supervision and staff
meetings.)
$120 per optional monthly blog post
