Description

The Eminence 40-Book Challenge is a year-long program designed for students grades K-5. Through it, we stretch more students to self-identify as readers and nurture reading celebrations in the library. Eminence Elementary has about 450 K-5 students.  By late March 2022, 405 had voluntarily entered the challenge with 9,500+ books logged.

At this time, we have almost 400 students in the program and they have logged almost 10,000 books during the 2022-23 school year.

In our session, we will share how we tracked student input, designed & distributed custom prizes, built & ran a breakout-game grand prize, and used Google Data Studio to communicate real-time data with our community.  The session will include time to workshop unique challenges for your library program.
