Measure social-emotional and behavioral (SEB) wellness using a universal screener.
Monitor restorative practice referral and resolution data disaggregated by student groups to assess the impact of social-emotional and behavioral supports.
Develop and implement a system for EMCSD learner disposition self-reflection and portfolios.
Evaluate student participation and proficiency in a digital literacy and citizenship curriculum aligned to district expectations.
STRATEGIES
Develop a student mentorship program to build consistent, supportive relationships with trusted adults.
Develop and reinforce common schoolwide norms and classroom routines that foster a safe and welcoming environment.
Develop a districtwide toolkit to provide schools with strategies and resources for building relationships and fostering a positive classroom culture.
Analyze SEB screener data—disaggregated by student groups—regularly to inform schoolwide practices, guide Tier 1 practices, and Tier 2 supports, and monitor student well-being over time.

Teach digital citizenship explicitly through a defined progression of skills at every grade level.
