In these paintings I explore the feeling of familiarity. I wanted to bring a sense of solace in my artwork, so I chose to depict things that were close to my heart. The theme lends itself to be very broad, showcasing people, places, animals, hobbies etc. But the element that glues all of them together is the comfort that something familiar can bring you.
