Light and lines, shapes and shadows, call me to stop and honor that moment of my journey - be it nature on a morning walk, or the echo of a memory in my mind’s eye, faint but somehow tangible.

Here, the threads of family memories are laced together.  Lace is created by threads woven together, connected into a pattern that may be described as simple, fine, intricate, delicate, even complicated. Sometimes the beauty of lace is what we can see through it – the spaces between the threads come together, creating their own story.

This art is created in gratitude for the love behind, beneath and surrounding the lace.
