Philosophy of Education
Every student has a different learning style either Visual, Auditory, Read/Write, and Kinesthetic. In a classroom there should be a combination of all four styles. Making sure all students learn and develop to the best of their abilities is, in my opinion, the goal of education. I think that providing students with a clear path to follow and examples of how to accomplish tasks is the best way to teach them. Additionally, students learn according to their preferred method of learning, so it is my responsibility as a teacher to use all four of these methods.
Students should be taught the standard that the states require, as a educator we are responsible to make sure the students have the opportunity to learn the curriculum to the best of their abilities.
I believe students should be taught with a variety of materials and resources. They should experience variety of activities in class like videos, discussions, lecture, groups, guest speakers, pair work. Use different assignment methods – written, oral, projects, etc. Using these methods will ensure that they ar engage in thier learning.
Each student deserves to learn in a safe, responsive, and nurturing environments. This is a very important part of supporting the learning and development
A good teacher should have a variety of abilities, such as patience, empathy, flexibility, teamwork, and communication. A lifelong love of learning and children, an engaging presence in the classroom, the importance of real-world learning, the sharing of best practices, and other characteristics of effective teaching. They should be a role model for children to look up too. It is you who should to inspire them.
